I was out yesterday with 2 separate buyers looking for condos in Elk Grove. There were some good choices to consider.

Tares Circle
Boardwalk / Coney Island
Sommerfield
Laguna Oaks

The most pronounced development since I was last helping find Elk Grove condos was the selection of truly available / non short sale properties. In the past I have found far more short sales, most of which were contingent short sales, than bank owned. Privately owned condos for sale in Elk Grove are the exception because of the relative newness and prices paid place most of these owners financially underwater and not in a position to afford an equity sale.

Yesterday we had a nice selection of bank owned properties.

There are more issues to purchasing condos, but will save that for another post.
